Master Carver and Furniture Maker

"All of my work is derived from a lifelong study and love of the furnishings and art of ancient Greece and Rome through the eras of the Renaissance and 18th century and both the Art Nouveau movement and the Arts and Crafts period.

Alongside all of this my sculptures have evolved mainly as fluid naturalistic forms and bird sculptures, wildlife and the countryside being of huge inspiration. Studying drawing and designing have been fundamental in achieving my aims in these forms, and of course, the love of trees, wood and woodcarving.

I have been professional all my working life having worked with top designers, architects antiques companies and private individuals of huge wealth from around the world."
