Neil Lemaire
Neil Lemaire is a London-based sculptor with over 25 years of experience working in bronze. Drawing deeply from his early life in the British countryside and a former career as a commercial diver on the River Thames, Neil’s work is rooted in a reverence for nature, geology, and the unseen forces that shape both landscape and material.
Neil's work often explores the tension between control and chaos, and between the organic and the engineered. Botanical forms are a recurring motif—frequently life-cast from plants foraged near his workshop—celebrating the fragile, often-overlooked details of the natural world in solid bronze.
Each piece is a meditation on time, memory, and material transformation. Whether polishing a vessel to a mirror finish or developing a patina that echoes erosion and decay, Neil brings his deep respect for craftsmanship and environmental awareness to everything he makes.
