Anna Pugh

Anna Pugh is one of England's leading artists and is admired as a colourist and story teller. Her paintings, like those of Rousseau and Chagall, show the natural world enlivened by touches of the surreal. Few artists equal her ability to record natural phenomena and to invigorate it with such persuasive illusion. They have the freshness and irreverent vitality of life lived close to nature.

We are honoured to exhibit and offer Anna Pugh's work thanks to the support of Lucy B Campbell Gallery.


We are still showcasing the breathtaking career arc of Anna Pugh, with works spanning over a 30 year time period.

On Ilka's recent visit to Anna’s she gave her a treasure trove of artist proof etchings from the late 70’s and  early 80’s .
