James Armstrong
Born and bred in rural Northumberland in 1975
Attended Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. This is when his love for drawing / creating art blossomed
Trained as a Clerk of course at Pontefract 1999-2001
Accredited in 2001 at Newcastle Racecourse.
Covered a few seasons at Sedgefield.
Then started Clerking at Hexham in around 2008 to present day
Added Cartmel to portfolio in 2023
Also starting to Clerk Kelso later this month.
Very happy to have three of the nicest NH tracks in the country to cover.
He has been commissioned by numerous high profile players in the racing industry.
