Tania Still
Tania Still was born in 1976, grew up in North Yorkshire. She moved to London in 1996 to study at the City and Guilds of London Art School in Kennington, where she completed her diploma and postgraduate studies in Fine Art Painting.
"I predominantly concentrate on painting horses and hounds. Unless vital to the work, I portray the subjects without a background, as the personality of horse and hound are the main focus of my work. The lack of background also lets the viewer's eye concentrate on the subjects within the painting. My work on a large scale, is also a passion as I can get involved in the anatomy and muscle structure of the subjects creating a strong narrative."
Tania’s paintings can be found in many private collections throughout the UK, Europe, the USA, Kuala Lumpur, Australia and Argentina, she had two paintings in ‘The Dog’ exhibition at Chatsworth House in 2019. Notable horses are Golden Horn, Cracksman, Roaring Lion, Cue Card, Big Bucks and Indefatigable.
